Privacy notice — Applying for a job

Who we are

Futura Surgicare Private Limited, 86/C2, 3rd Main, Industrial Suburb, 2nd Stage, Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru - 560 022, Karnataka, India, Bengaluru, Karnataka ("we") collects and keeps this information and decides how it is used (the data fiduciary).

What we collect

• Your name, contact details (e-mail, phone, address) and the job you apply for
• Your résumé / CV and what it contains: education, work history, skills
• Your current and expected salary, notice period and location preferences, if you give them
• Notes from screening, tests and interviews

Why we need it

• To assess your application for the job and contact you about it
• To arrange tests and interviews
• If you agree, to consider you for other suitable openings during the retention period

Our reason (legal basis)

• Your consent, given when you apply. You may withdraw it at any time; we then stop processing your application and delete your details, except what we must keep by law.
• You may choose not to give information; the consequences are explained above. We collect only what the purpose needs.

Who sees it

• Our HR / recruitment team and the managers interviewing for the job
• An AI service that helps us read your résumé and assess how your experience fits the role, under contract; it may process the text outside India. Hiring decisions are always made by people.
• Our IT service providers that host this system, under confidentiality and security obligations
• We do not sell your data or use it for marketing.

How we protect it

• It is kept on access-controlled systems and can be seen only by the people listed above; downloads are logged.
• Upload links are personal, expire, and are sent only to you. Please never send documents by e-mail or WhatsApp — use the secure page.
• Aadhaar numbers are never shown in full; we ask only for a masked copy.

How long we keep it

If you are not hired, we keep your application for 12 months after it closes, then delete it. If you join us, it becomes part of your employee record.

Your rights

• To ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• To ask us to correct, complete or update it
• To withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete data we no longer need or must keep by law
• To have a grievance about it handled, and to nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to

Complaints

Please contact the HR department, hello@futuramedtech.com first. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
